At a regular meeting of the Mayfield Planning Board, Town of Mayfield, Fulton County, New York, held on Wednesday March 15, 2006 at the Mayfield Municipal Complex, 28 North School Street at 7:00 pm there were

OTHERS PRESENT: Loren Baker Jr., Loren Baker III, Kathy Canary Planning Board Clerk.
Chairman Arthur Dahl called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES-A motion was made by Nancy Deitch and seconded by Arthur Dahl to approve the minutes of March 7, 2006 as submitted. Carried 3 (three) AYES 0(zero) NAYS.
Loren Baker III discussed his plans for a proposed construction of a small office building located at Rt 30 and Red Bunch Road. Mr. Baker presented a sketch of the proposed site. The board discussed the site plan application with Mr. Baker. Mr. Baker was given site plan application and a SEQR review form. The board requested a final sketch drawn to scale with landscaping and signage, a copy of the permit from Department of Transportation and to provide the board with the names and addresses of all adjacent property owners for a public hearing at a later date. The proposal is adjourned until April 19, 2006.
ZONING LAW MODIFICATIONS
The Town of Mayfield Zoning Law has given the Planning Board responsibility of recommending to the Town Board any modifications to the Zoning Regulations. The Planning Board discussed two documents for possible changes to the zoning laws. A letter from Mr. Jerry Moore on Local Law 2 of 2005 Zoning Law section 401:D and Mike Stewart CEO, Zoning Law Items for Review. The board held an extensive discussion of agricultural zones and discussion was tabled for the next meeting. The board reviewed item number 14 and item number 1in the Zoning Law Items for Review Packet from Mike Stewart, CEO.

PLANNING BOARD ACTION:
Item number 14 Local Law 2 of 2005 Zoning Law subsection 301-13:C1. The board decided to recommend to the Town Board that residential use be allowed in commercial areas with site plan review. All in Favor CARRIED 3(three) AYES 0(zero) NAYS.
Item number 1 Local Law 2 of 2005 Zoning Law Section 202. The board agreed with Mike Stewart, CEO for the change/modification to this law. There should be a definition of grade plane. All in Favor CARRIED 3(three) AYES 0(zero) NAYS.
A letter will be sent to the Town Board informing them that we will not have all our recommendations ready by March 31, 2006. We are requesting a two month extension to complete the revisions.
Next meeting scheduled for March 29 2006 will be a continuation of the Zoning Law Modifications.
On motion by Nancy Deitch, seconded by Marilyn Salvione the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. CARRIED 3(three) AYES 0(zero) NAYS.
